My New Aceos
My new Aceos are fun little whimsical characters. They make me smile each time I look at them. I think the snowman are my favorite, they all though remind me of the kiddos.

They are all original and one of a kind and can be found now in my artfire shop.
Aceos still are my favorite to create, and collect. You can get some wonderful Artwork from Artist, with ACEOS. I have some I frame, and some I hang on a ribbon. They are fun to decorate the house with. I keep some of my favorite from some of my favorite Artist, around my desk. They are fun little works of art to have through out the house, and what a perfect gift to add to an envelope this year for Christmas, or even you friends for Halloween. They are a wonderful way to share Art with your friends and family, or just enjoy your own collection.

My New Dolls are making their Debut!!!
Woo hoo Finally a peek at my newest creations ! These have been in the making for awhile. I had been tinkering with how to actually create these totally paper 3-d dolls and finally came up with how I love them.
They are formed from sheets paper that my husband made.he creates handmade paper from paper that we would normally throw out. I then do what I do, and create the them into the forms of the dolls I have in mind. They then are given a coat of paint, and some get Wire, some get beads, some even get Real Gold leafing.
Each one unique, and own personality. The first 2 will be available for the July 13th update of Spooky Time Jingles ! Debuting will be Buster (the crazy hair one), and the Tall Red Gal Which I Call The Spirit of Christmas.
The rest will come available in the next few weeks along with new ones that are being created. The green gal which you see is a Christmas Tree Topper or Shelf sitter however you might like to use her. She is reserved back for the 48 for Larry auction. July 24 thru 26 on Blockhead Radio.

This Christmas.............
Only 4 days away, I notice how busy the streets are this morning we live right off the main highway and wow for Sunday Morning sure is busy. Yesterday it was shoulder to shoulder in the grocery store. sign of the times everyone is getting everything right up to the moment. A good thing to see yesterday while amongst the grocery store was the food bin outside the store was almost full! That I was surprised but happy to see. The few people I followed out the door donated there pocket change into the Red Can outside for the bell ringer for the Salvation Army. I opted to give my $1.73 in change from the grocery store to a man standing next to his daughter right on the other side the building column, and a few people followed me. Wonderful to hear the Daughter say oh Thank you. I had been dropping my change to The Bell Ringer each week, and first time I had seen someone standing outside. Which is odd as I Thought there would be more Last year there was usually someone outside the store every time we visited.
This year I figure with gas down and such many are going to start their travelings a little early. So I thought I would throw this post up today.
On Christmas morning or Christmas Eve whichever you are with family and friends celebrating, and while opening the presents and sharing with each other. Take the time, to truly thank people not for a gift not for the that something you truly wanted, But for the Gift of a Mother, a Brother, a Sister, Aunt, Father in Law, a step Brother,Sons and Daughter whichever your family may be. There is no other gift given unto you as family. Then take in to count which is as close or maybe even closer to you than your family the Gift of friendship, a friendship you have had from childhood, or a friendship developed just recently. Your friends that mean so much to you over the internet. The gift of Friendship of family, is a gift of a lifetime. Something more precious than the big ol game system, that perfect piece of jewelry , the toy you just had to have. Its what makes life complete and heals you when you need healing, laughs with you when you laugh, which gives you the shoulder when you need a shoulder, which celebrates with you when you celebrate, which helps you through the loss, which may disagree with your choices but in the end is always there for you, the opinion that you count on, the hand you give to help, or the hand that helps you, the never ending love that sees you to your last days on earth.
It is the most simplest gift given to us all Friends and family and Take the time this year to really take in all that has been given to you in your lifetime, and the most Richest Gift you can receive.
Take the time this year to share the moments of life with those near to you. Take the time to listen to the story your grandpa has told a thousand times, Help mom clean those holiday dishes, take the time to thank a friend for just being who they are. You never know what is going to happen the year to come. So my wish for everyone to do this year is to make the time you have with your family and friends the best gift you have always had and enjoy this beautiful gift the day of Christmas with the blessing of your Friends and Family.
Peace, Hope, and Blessings for a beautiful week of Family and Friends.
I know I am I am most grateful for the Gift God has given me of our beautiful amazing Kids, the man I will spend the rest of my life with, My beautiful Mother, my Grandpa that amazes me each year, My wonderful Father in law that has become my Dad The ones I have lost but are in heaven so I rejoice. My Friends who are one of my dearest gifts. And just the beauty of waking up each day knowing I have so many wonderful people in my life, that to me is the most precious gift bestowed unto me. Thank you my earthly angels.
And now........ as you know I like history and I was gonna put up the story of history but looking the the site I decided upon another story that is such the meaning of Christmas. Which is below if you would like to learn some more History Visit the History channel they always do such a wonderful learning on the holidays.
This below is taken from the History Channel:
During World War I, on and around Christmas Day 1914, the sounds of rifles firing and shells exploding faded in a number of places along the Western Front in favor of holiday celebrations in the trenches and gestures of goodwill between enemies.
Starting on Christmas Eve, many German and British troops sang Christmas carols to each other across the lines, and at certain points the Allied soldiers even heard brass bands joining the Germans in their joyous singing.
At the first light of dawn on Christmas Day, some German soldiers emerged from their trenches and approached the Allied lines across no-man's-land, calling out "Merry Christmas" in their enemies' native tongues. At first, the Allied soldiers feared it was a trick, but seeing the Germans unarmed they climbed out of their trenches and shook hands with the enemy soldiers. The men exchanged presents of cigarettes and plum puddings and sang carols and songs. There was even a documented case of soldiers from opposing sides playing a good-natured game of soccer.
Some soldiers used this short-lived ceasefire for a more somber task: the retrieval of the bodies of fellow combatants who had fallen within the no-man's land between the lines.
The so-called Christmas Truce of 1914 came only five months after the outbreak of war in Europe and was one of the last examples of the outdated notion of chivalry between enemies in warfare. It was never repeated—future attempts at holiday ceasefires were quashed by officers' threats of disciplinary action—but it served as heartening proof, however brief, that beneath the brutal clash of weapons, the soldiers' essential humanity endured.

Christmas Goodies
CHRISTMAS POPCORN BALLS
12 c. popped corn
1 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. sugar
1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry or lime Jello
In 1 quart saucepan combine corn syrup and sugar. Cook, stirring with a wooden spoon over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Without stirring, bring mixture to a full boil. Remove from heat and add Jello; stir until dissolved. Pour syrup mixture over popcorn and toss to coat well. With lightly buttered hands, form into balls. Place on waxed paper to set at room temperature. Makes about 1 1/2 dozen balls. Will keep for several weeks.
Sea Glass Candy:
Ingredients:
2 cups granulated sugar
3/4 cup light corn syrup
3/4 cup water
1/4 to 1 teaspoon flavoring oil(see Note), depending on strength of flavor
Liquid or paste food color(paste colors are more intense)
Confectioners' sugar
Directions:
Make an assortment of fruit or spice flavors in a variety of colors. A candy thermometer is very helpful, but not essential.
1.Lightly grease a cookie sheet. Place on a wire cooling rack.
2. Stir sugar, corn syrup and water in a medium-size saucepan over medium-high heat just until sugar dissolves.
3. Without stirring, boil until candy thermometer registers 300 degrees F. to 310 F.(or test by dropping small amount into ice water; syrup should seperate into threads that are hard and brittle). Immediately remove from heat and wait a minute or two for boiling to stop.
4. With a wooden spoon, stir in flavoring oil and
food color until blended. Immediately pour onto prepared cookie sheet. Let cool completely, about 20 minutes. Lightly dust slab of candy on both sides with confectioners' sugar, brushing off excess sugar. Break into small pieces. Store airtight. Makes 1 pound, 6 ounces(4 cups)
Note: Flavoring oils are available at most cake and baking-supply stores
Chocolate Caramels (Yummy)
Ingredients
* 1 cup sugar
* 1/2 cup light corn syrup
* 1 cup heavy cream, at room temperature
* 2 ounces bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped
* 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
Directions
In a heavy-bottomed sauce pan, stir the sugar and corn syrup together until the sugar is completely moistened. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat and cook, without stirring, until it turns a very light caramel color, about 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and very slowly pour the cream into the hot sugar (be careful-it will bubble up) and stir to combine. Return the mixture to medium-low heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until a candy thermometer inserted in the pot reads 238 degrees F, about 12 to 15 minutes.
Remove from the heat and whisk in the chocolate and butter until smooth. Pour the mixture into a greased 8-by-8 inch square baking dish. Allow to cool completely (at least 2 hours) before cutting into 1-inch squares.
How to Temper Chocolate:
* From Dessert Circus, Extraordinary Desserts You Can Make at Home, by Jacques Torres
Chocolate is tempered so that after it has been melted, it retains its gloss and hardens again without becoming chalky and white (that happens when the molecules of fat separate and form on top of the chocolate). There are a variety of ways to temper.
One of the easiest ways to temper chocolate is to chop it into small pieces and then place it in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time on high power until most of the chocolate is melted. Be very careful not to overheat it. (The temperature of dark chocolate should be between 88 and 90 degrees F, slightly warmer than your bottom lip. It will retain its shape even when mostly melted. White and milk chocolates melt at a temperature approximately 2 degrees F less because of the amount of lactose they contain.) Any remaining lumps will melt in the chocolate's residual heat. Use an immersion blender or whisk to break up the lumps. Usually, chocolate begins to set, or crystallize, along the side of the bowl. As it sets, mix those crystals into the melted chocolate to temper it. A glass bowl retains heat well and keeps the chocolate tempered longer.
Another way to temper chocolate is called seeding. In this method, add small pieces of unmelted chocolate to melted chocolate. The amount of unmelted chocolate to be added depends on the temperature of the melted chocolate, but is usually 1/4 of the total amount. It is easiest to use an immersion blender for this, or a whisk.
The classic way to temper chocolate is called tabliering. Two thirds of the melted chocolate is poured onto a marble or another cold work surface. The chocolate is spread out and worked with a spatula until its temperature is approximately 81 degrees F. At this stage, it is thick and begins to set. This tempered chocolate is then added to the remaining non-tempered chocolate and mixed thoroughly until the mass has a completely uniform temperature. If the temperature is still too high, part of the chocolate is worked further on the cold surface until the correct temperature is reached. This is a lot of work, requires a lot of room, and makes a big mess.
A simple method of checking tempering, is to apply a small quantity of chocolate to a piece of paper or to the point of a knife. If the chocolate has been correctly tempered, it will harden evenly and show a good gloss within a few minutes.

Holy Moly Only........
and now its Friday again. Where does the time go.
History Channel has a great little tidbits on the History of Santa. I am a history buff in case you haven't noticed lol.
I watched on the evening news so many children left on the angel tree. I know many of us can't do an angle tree but if you can spare a little over a dollar there are Hot wheels and some little girl things that can be bought and put into the Toys For Tots collection.
If you create things Check with the local charities and see if you can donate something.
A little thing goes a long way when there is nothing.
I would love to put forth when you are buying for your Christmas Dinner this year to buy one item on your list and put it into any of the food drives. I personally have been buying extra can goods and plan on some boxes of candy canes, I was thinking the other day I wonder if they are OK but I bet they are and they last forever heck I forgot a box last year and found it again in the spring and they where still good, and whats Christmas without Candy Canes.
So please I totally understand that we are all meek times trust me still waiting to do the Christmas shopping here for the kids, but I bet we all have some loos change around that we could turn into a little toy or that extra non perishable food, that will help a family enjoy their Christmas a little more.
Have you ever seen a boy with those little Hot Wheels, little girls with some pretend jewelry or doll clothes even the little pretend baby bottles for dolls, Jacks for boys, an egg of silly putty, a punching balloon all these things can be bought for under $2 many right around a Dollar. These little things can be such a difference in a family that has nothing for Christmas
Oh and of course don't forget the Elderly the ones that are in the nursing homes, the neighbor that has no family near by. Bring them a Card, a plate of cookies, maybe some leftovers from the Christmas dinner. Something little means the world to those who have nobody on Christmas Day. Even to go in and sit with them on Christmas Eve or Day and listen and Share stories of Christmas.
Such little gestures are something everyone can do even for a few minutes.
